Reservation & Cancellation Guidelines
At Best Western Plus Walkerton Hotel & Conference Centre, we strive to provide clarity and flexibility while ensuring fair booking practices for all guests. Please review the following policies carefully before confirming your reservation.
Standard Reservations

Most reservations made at our hotel are non-refundable, unless otherwise stated at the time of booking. Certain rate types, including promotional and rewards member rates, may require full prepayment and are non-cancellable.

If your reservation includes a flexible cancellation option, cancellations must be made within the timeframe specified in your booking confirmation to avoid charges.
Non-Refundable Rates
Reservations labeled as Non-Refundable, Exclusive Rate, or similar promotional offers:

Require full payment at the time of booking

Cannot be modified or cancelled

Are not eligible for refunds under any circumstances
Please ensure your travel plans are confirmed before selecting these rate types.
Early Departure
If a guest checks out earlier than the confirmed departure date, charges may apply for unused nights, depending on the rate booked and hotel policy.
No-Show Policy
Failure to arrive on the scheduled check-in date without prior notice will result in a no-show charge, typically equal to one night’s room rate plus applicable taxes, or the full stay amount for non-refundable reservations.
Group & Event Bookings
Group reservations, wedding bookings, and conference events may be subject to separate cancellation terms outlined in the signed agreement. Deposits for events may be non-refundable depending on contract conditions.
Refund Processing
Where applicable, approved refunds will be processed using the original method of payment. Please allow several business days for the refund to appear on your statement, depending on your financial institution.
Force Majeure
In circumstances beyond our control (including severe weather, government restrictions, or emergencies), refund considerations will be handled on a case-by-case basis in accordance with applicable policies and rate conditions.
